MENTA MARKETPLACE
A new way for micro and new businesses to showcase their business
offer has been re-launched and has offered entrepreneurs a platform to reach
new customers online.
John Neild from MENTA, the people behind Marketplace, says, “we
launched the first site during the 2020 lockdowns, it was our response to those
in business that suddenly had seen footfall dry up and perhaps were not as well
positioned online as they would want to be”.
The original site proved to be a hit and has now been
rebuilt with greater searchability for consumers.
MENTA Marketplace website is open to all MENTA clients as a free resource.
John Neild says “We have business hubs with serviced units in Haverhill, Brandon, Felixstowe and Bury St Edmunds, we offer our tenants free listing but have now opened this to all our clients from new and existing businesses"
The new site is faster allowing better search results for those wanting to
support micro businesses and who enjoy shopping locally.
The site includes a range of sectors, from a private chef, heating
engineers, plumbers, graphic designers and personal trainers.
“We offer free listing to our clients and with MENTA approaching
its fortieth year of operations, we wanted to invest in a digital shop window
that helps boost those micro businesses and freelancers”
