As the business awards season gets underway, staff at MENTA, the business support organization based in Bury St Edmunds, are keeping their fingers crossed for one of their team. Suzanne Banks is the community manager for the MENTA run, business hub and co-working site, @Inc. 

Suzanne, was named one of the finalists in the 2022 Bury Free Press Business Awards in the employee of the year category.  In what has proven to be a record year for entrants, Suzanne was selected as a finalist in these highly coveted awards. The category of Employee of The Year description says -

‘Nominees for this award will have gone the extra mile in their job to achieve something amazing or overcome adversity in their professional life and continued to deliver an excellent service. The person should be a role model to their colleagues” 

Alex Till, MENTA CEO, said “Suzanne has brought a vibrancy to our co-working sites, having helped increase membership, she has engaged with the communities we serve, I am thrilled that her efforts have been recognized and her ongoing work in the roll out of a new co-working site in Felixstowe, which opened in April, she is now forging ahead with plans for a further site in Southwold” 

@Inc is a business hub that offers freelancers and teams a place to work and collaborates as well a receive onsite business support, it operates in King’s Road in Bury St Edmunds and Hamilton Road in Felixstowe. 

Suzanne Banks said, “I am so proud of what we have achieved @Inc and the people that make this business community hub thrive, I am very grateful to the judges for their recognition and can’t wait to meet all other finalists at The Apex in October - fingers crossed for all.”
