Beaumont Rivers case study
Beaumont Rivers Ltd, one of the first startups in the UK focussing on nature restoration, credits MENTA’s ‘invaluable’ support in getting the business from start-up to established.
Entrepreneur Jonny Ackroyd was introduced to MENTA programme via other local entrepreneurs who had received help and said that it had made a substantial difference to the growth and development of their business.
“I got involved as there was a really great range of talks/sessions that addressed some of the challenges I was facing,” said Jonny.
“Support from MENTA in the first year made the early growth and development of my business much faster and provided me with the reassurance that I was doing the right thing at the right time. Since then, the business has flourished in its second year and is now turning over six times what it did in the first. I am now looking to hire my first (and potentially second) full-time employee.
“A lot of people I know are either thinking of starting a company or in the process of doing so, and I invariably recommend MENTA. Support such as MENTA’s is invaluable during the early days of a business!”
