We live in a digital age. One of the biggest information security risks businesses face is the threat of cyber-attacks. Last year, 81% of reports about an email or social media hack were from small or medium businesses. The average annual cost of a cyber-attack for micro and small businesses was £3,080. So it’s really important to protect against these attacks.
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the UK’s technical authority on cyber security. At the ICO, we work alongside them to help the UK’s small businesses improve their cyber security.
