A new local hotspot for free SME and entrepreneur business support, advice, training, and development has now opened in Norwich. Known as the HUB, the new venture is located centrally at the Forum. Norwich Business Support Hub has been set up as part of Norwich BID's Onwards Norwich initiative. Services include Digital & Media Skills for SMEs, Upskilling & Training for the Leisure & Hospitality Industry, and a Net Zero Waste initiative aimed at local SMEs.

MENTA Business Support will be staffing the new business centre and are known across the region, having delivered SME training and business coaching for more than thirty-seven years.

Their presence at The HUB and their newly forged relationship with the Norwich BID offers a unique city centre resource for established business to access support, as well as for those looking for a change in direction.


Claire Brooks who will be the resident MENTA business expert at the newly open HUB said “We are thrilled to be in the city centre, offering a space for advice, training, events and key connectivity to the range of support available across the City”.

MENTA can showcase the tremendous work of our partner organisations and explain the various options open to those wishing to upskill or realise their dreams of setting up their very own business. There are some fully funded programme options that really can help entrepreneurial spirit flourish’

MENTA’s Enterprise Programme and Contracts Manager, John Neild, said “The location has such a buzz, our business coaches will be popping into help clients with 1-2-1 coaching and delivering the support needed. MENTA has some exciting, newly funded programmes that offer tailored support to those looking to start a business or go into self-employment” We are also excited to be working closely with NatWest to utilise their business builder programme and look forward to hosting a variety of their sessions in the coming months"

MENTA have partnered with the Norwich (BID) Business Improvement District and will be hosting events, delivering training opportunities and acting as a drop-in for established SMEs to pick up the support they need.

The HUB will have training, networking, talks and aim to be a collaborative source of support for all in business across Norwich.
