A brand-new Baby and Toddler Show
Local Business Answers Desperate Parents’ Plea
A brand-new Baby and Toddler Show arrives in Suffolk
Suffolk based, Toddle About, will be
bringing a baby and toddler show to the Suffolk in October 2022.
80% of parents surveyed in Suffolk said they would love to have a baby and toddler show in Suffolk
Pia Howe, who runs Toddle About Suffolk - A baby and toddler magazine, decided to launch this event after talking to many
businesses and parents, and finding out that since the closures of many high
street stores, parents have nowhere to go and ‘test’ baby equipment or talk to
experts who can recommend the best products for their new or young arrival.
“I am thrilled to bring this show to Suffolk. I know that there is a huge need for a baby show in Suffolk – the event will help new and expecting parents, and it will also give local businesses a much-needed boost”.
Pia, who is a mum of two and worked as an event organiser before starting the Toddle About Suffolk magazine, continued, “My own experiences of attending these kind of shows as both a parent and a business owner have inspired me to create this event. With my background in the events industry and as a parenting magazine publisher, I’m confident it’s going to be a huge success.”
With promotion across online, print and social media, the show aims to attract visitors from all over Suffolk who, more than likely, have not yet had the chance to attend an event of this kind.
The show is free to attend and will be a perfect family day out, with activities and entertainment for children including a soft play area, café, breastfeeding area and ‘meet and greet characters’.
There will also be live demonstrations from a vast array of local and national experts which will give businesses and parents the chance to talk, face to face, to each other – perhaps for the first time since before the pandemic.
The show will be held at Wherstead Park on the
16th October from 10am – 3pm, which, after much deliberation, was
decided on as the perfect venue for a baby and toddler show, due to its large
free parking area, buggy-friendliness and easy accessibility from across Suffolk,
being close to the A14.
